We are so excited to be able to share this happy time with you all in such an amazing setting. Borgo del Carato is a beautiful old olive press farm, immersed in a private park of 90 hectares, characterized by the simplicity of Sicily of the past.
Surrounded by tall carob trees and centenary olive trees we hope you make the most of your time here soaking up the sun, relaxing by the pool and enjoying the delicious food and wine.

As a heartfelt thank you for traveling all this way, we invite you to a casual and delicious pasta party to begin the celebrations.
Join us for an evening of homemade Sicilian food, local wine, and warm conversation.
We can’t think of a better way to begin our wedding weekend than by sharing a beautiful meal with all of you, our nearest and dearest.
What to wear - Think relaxed Italian vibes.
Monday 27th
8am - 10:30am Breakfast
Enjoy a leisurely start to your day with breakfast served in the courtyard of the Borgo. We invite all of our on-site guests to join us for coffee, pastries, and a delicious Sicilian-style breakfast. It's the perfect opportunity to recap the fun of the night before and prepare for the day's adventures.
12:30pm - 2:30pm Lunch
After breakfast, take some time to relax by the pool or explore the grounds. A light lunch of local Sicilian specialties will be available for all on-site guests. Enjoy some fresh, seasonal flavors as you unwind and prepare for our wedding ceremony later in the afternoon.
5pm - 5:30pm Ceremony
The moment we've all been waiting for! Join us as we say our vows and tie the knot, followed by a cocktail hour.
What to wear - Think Sicilian summer chic: light linens, flowing dresses, open collars, and effortless elegance. Jackets are optional, comfort is encouraged, and sunglasses at cocktail hour won’t go amiss.
Monday 27th continued
6:30pm - 7:30pm Antipasti
It's time to let the feasting begin, grab an Aperol Spritz and enjoy an array of local cheeses, cured meats and fresh fish as you mingle with loved ones and soak up the last of the Sicilian sunshine.
8:00pm - 10:00pm Reception dinner
Take your seats in the courtyard for a magical dinner under the Sicilian stars, we will be serving up a delicious feast of our favourite local flavours and flowing wine. Expect wonderful company, heartfelt speeches and a wonderful prelude to a night of dancing.
10pm - 10:30pm Time for cake
Gather round as we cut the cake and indulge in some delicious desserts.
Party til 2:30am
We don't need to tell you what's involved here!
For all you hungry guests there will be a pizza truck serving freshly baked pizza's to keep you going.
Tuesday 28th
8am - 10:30am Breakfast
Strong espresso and fond fairwells! Before we all pack our bags and say arrivederci join us for a casual breakfast.

Flying to Sicily
The nearest airport is Catania Airport (CTA), approximately 1 hour from Borgo del Carato.
From Catania, guests can reach the venue by:
- train
- taxi transfer
- car hire
- shared transport with other guests
Staying in Syracuse
We know many guests will be staying in Syracuse before the wedding.
To make things easy, Borgo offer a transfer service from Syracuse to Borgo del Carato, with return transfers on the Tuesday. Further details to follow.
Taxis and Ubers are also readily available to book to and from the venue.

As the entire venue has been exclusively booked for our wedding, all rooms are being managed collectively through us and Borgo del Carato rather than through the hotel directly.
